Module-Level Power Electronics (MLPE): This method involves the use of microinverters or DC power optimizers connected to each solar panel. Each panel has its own power electronics, enabling individual shutdown at the module level. MLPE systems can either use power line communication or wireless communication to enable rapid shutdown.
